VIDEO: Lee Jin Uk Thinks He Is Not Good-Looking; Song Kang States, "I Think I'm Good-Looking!"

Actors Lee Jin Uk and Song Kang shared opposing views about their appearance. 

On November 28, Lee Jin Uk and Song Kang guested on comedienne Jang Do-yeon's YouTube show 'Salon Drip 2'. 

While talking together, Jang Do-yeon could not help but mention Lee Jin Uk's still-much-talked-about scene in 2015 film 'The Beauty Inside'. 

Sounding excited, she said, "Everybody is still talking about the scene where you first showed yourself in 'The Beauty Inside'. It's often referred to as one of the top three 'legendary' appearances of a movie character in a film. Did you know about this?" 

Lee Jin Uk shyly responded, "I do. A lot of people told me about it, but it's really quite hard to understand how that became such a 'legendary' scene. It's just my face. Nothing that special... I'm still baffled by it." 
Then, Jang Do-yeon asked, "Just wondering, do you consider yourself good-looking? When you look at yourself in the mirror, do you go like, 'Oh, yeah. I'm so good-looking.'?" 

Lee Jin Uk explained in a firm manner, "No, I'm not that type of person at all. But I feel like Song Kang might think that way." 

So, Jang Do-yeon turned to Song Kang and asked, "Do you, Song Kang? Do you often think, 'I'm really cool. I'm so handsome.' and things like that to yourself?"

As if Jang Do-yeon asked him something that was so obvious, Song Kang immediately answered, "Oh, yeah. I do, actually."; his honest response made Jang Do-yeon and Lee Jin Uk shake with laughter. 
On this day, the actors also revealed whether they check comments about them online. 

Song Kang first said, "I don't tend to read them much," explaining, "I'm sure there are many people out there who root for me, but negative comments do affect me in certain ways, so... When I do want to read them, I would usually go through them after work." 

Lee Jin Uk commented, "I only read comments on my social media; in fact, I read every single one of them. Sometimes, I find comments cursing at me in very interesting ways. And foreign fans often use a translator to leave their comments, and I can tell that, you know. Young girls tell me that they want to marry me and stuff as well. That's crazy, right? But it's kind of fun to read them." 

He added that he wants to reply to them, but people around him have repeatedly told him not to, worried about the possibility of words coming out wrong or causing misunderstanding, so he decided not to reply to any of them for the time being.
