VIDEO: Fans Cry After Seeing SEUNGKWAN Choking Up While Mentioning MOON BIN
SEUNGKWAN of K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN was seen choking up while speaking about boy group ASTRO's late member MOON BIN at '2023 MAMA Awards'.

On November 29, Mnet's annual awards ceremony '2023 MAMA Awards' took place at Tokyo Dome, Japan.

On this day, SEVENTEEN took 'Daesang' (grand prize) with their spring mini album 'FML'.

When they were announced to be the winners of 'Daesang', the 13 members shared a group hug with happy tears in their eyes.

This was because it was SEVENTEEN's first time taking 'Daesang' home at 'MAMA Awards' since their debut in May 2015.
SEVENTEENEach member of SEVENTEEN took turns to deliver their speech, and SEUNGKWAN was the last one to go.

SEUNGKWAN cleared his throat and started off his speech by saying, "First, I would like to thank all the artists who performed today. Seeing your incredible performances made me respect you even more. Whether you won an award or not, I just want to let you know that you rock, and I've learned a bunch from you today."

He added, "Being in the K-pop industry is certainly not easy. But let's keep rooting for each other, and create good memories together."
SEVENTEENAfter that, SEUNGKWAN hesitated for a second, then stated, "I'm not sure if it would be appropriate for me to say this here, but..."

Sounding emotional, he continued, "A lot have happened this year, and..."

As he got too emotional and could not carry on with his speech, the members of SEVENTEEN patted him on the shoulder.

SEUNGKWAN then resumed, "I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my friend MOON BIN, who's always shown his support for all members of SEVENTEEN. He loved our team, and he's been our greatest supporter. Thank you."

SEUNGKWAN's eyes were filled with tears when he finished his speech, making everyone watching '2023 MAMA Awards' burst into tears.

MOON BIN was SEUNGKWAN's closest celebrity friend; he left this world on April 19.
