"Wow, I Feel Terrible for His Manager" KyuHyun Faces Backlash for Being Unprofessional

KyuHyun of K-pop boy group Super Junior is facing backlash after a recent episode of singer Sung Si-kyung's talk show was released. 

On January 9, KyuHyun guested on Sung Si-kyung's talk show 'We'll Meet' (literal title) on YouTube. 

While they talked over some drinks, KyuHyun recalled drinking until 5:30 AM with Sung Si-kyung in the past, "I still remember the day I drank with you until 5:30 in the morning." 
Laughing, KyuHyun detailed what happened after their drinking session, "I was wasted, remember? I did manage to get home, but I totally blacked out after saying goodbye to you. I didn't remember a thing until I woke up about six hours later. When I woke up, I was completely naked on my bed, wearing my jeans to my lower thighs." 

The Super Junior member resumed, "I was like, 'What the... This is weird.' So, I called my manager to find out if he knew anything. He told me, 'Don't you remember, hyung? I went to wake you up at 6 AM, but you were so drunk. But since we had to catch a 9 o'clock flight for your event in Japan, I somehow had to get you to the airport. I thought I could put clothes on you, but I failed in the end.'" 

He chuckled, then said, "Yeah... I was supposed to get on a flight that morning, but I basically missed my flight because I drank too much. My manager told me that he had to call my company to let them know that I couldn't make it to the airport and reschedule everything." 

He added, "Thankfully, I still had two more days until my performance, so I took the next flight there. It would've been a 2-hour flight if I had taken the one I was supposed to take, but I ended up transferring in Tokyo, so it took me like eight hours in total. Upon arrival, I went to rehearse right away." 
A lot of people who watched this episode of Sung Si-kyung's YouTube show did not react positively to KyuHyun's drunk tale; they criticized KyuHyun for being irresponsible as well as unprofessional. 

They also felt bad for his manager who had to clean up the mess that KyuHyun made, who does not even seem to feel sorry about what he did. 

They argued that it was immature of KyuHyun to tell the story on a talk show as if it was some kind of fun thing that happened to him, when he made others work extra just because he could not control himself before a work trip.
