Joo WonAs BIGBANG recently had their reunion performance at the 2024 MAMA Awards, Joo Won was asked if he had watched their performance from that day.

Joo Won answered, "Yeah, I did. I watched the MAMA Awards just to watch BIGBANG's reunion performance. I know they're incredibly talented and popular, but they're more like younger brothers to me. While watching their performance, I found myself thinking, 'Is this what it feels like to be a mom?' I couldn't stop being proud of them for their amazing performance."

The actor also mentioned, "G-DRAGON was one of the trainees I trained during my military days as an assistant instructor. He joined the military much later than I did."

He added, "Even during the annual military training these days, I run into G-DRAGON pretty often—almost every year. We catch up and talk about different things, including when his next album is coming out."

Reflecting on his conversations with G-DRAGON, Joo Won said, "I told G-DRAGON, as a fan of BIGBANG, that not only me but many people are waiting for the group to perform again. I told him I hope to see it soon, and he replied, 'We're preparing for it.' And he made it come true. Watching them made me feel so proud."
