On November 29 episode of SBS POWER FM's radio show "Cultwo Show," Hyoyeon and boy group H.O.T.'s member Lee Jae-won appeared as guests.
During the conversation about junior artists, Hyoyeon reflected on her early debut days, saying, "Back then, even when delivery people brought our food, we'd always greet them with a 90-degree bow. We'd open the door and bow deeply. That's just how we were taught! Take notes, hoobaes!"
Hyoyeon added, "We saw the delivery guys every day since they brought us our meals. When we returned the dishes, we'd make sure they were as clean as possible before handing them back. We were genuinely grateful for their service."

The hosts empathized with her, saying, "I don't think it's a boomer-minded to bring up greetings etiquette. Proper greetings are important."
Lee Jae-won then asked Hyoyeon, "When you go to recordings, do younger artists come by your waiting room to say hi?"
Hyoyeon replied, "No. These days, there are just too many singers that they don't visit all the waiting rooms to say hi to all the seniors like the old days."
Lee Jae-won jokingly expressed his slight disappointment, saying, "Yeah... The last time they didn't come, I was a bit upset about that."

She added, "I often greet them first, but if a junior avoids eye contact, I just let it go and keep going without saying hi first."
