"She's So Famous, So I Was..." Lee Hyo-ri's Mother-in-Law Shares First Impression of Lee Hyo-ri

Singer Lee Sang Soon's mother shared her thoughts on her first impression of daughter-in-law, K-pop artist Lee Hyo-ri.

Recently, Yoon Jung-hee, Lee Hyo-ri's mother-in-law, appeared on one YouTube show and spoke about her son Lee Sang Soon and Lee Hyo-ri. 

Regarding her first impression of Lee Hyo-ri, she said, "My first impression of her was good. Since she's the woman my son loves, I liked her too. My first impression was very positive. But since she's such a famous person, I did feel somewhat pressured." 

She added, "Hyo-ri is very honest and great at creating a comfortable atmosphere. That helped ease the pressure. She's also a good conversationalist. She shares everything openly, without hiding anything, which I really liked." 
Yoon Jung-hee also mentioned Lee Hyo-ri's days as a member of girl group Fin.K.L, saying, "I had seen her on television, so I knew of her, but her music didn't really suit my taste." 

Laughing, she continued, "I never thought such a famous person I saw on television would eventually become my daughter-in-law."
When asked about grandchildren, she said, "It would be nice to have grandchildren," but added, "It would be great, but now both of them are getting quite old, so I've kind of given up on that idea." 

She went on, "When I visited the house they recently moved into, I thought the house was so spacious and nice. I thought, 'Living here with a child here would be wonderful.' So I told Hyo-ri, 'It would be so great to live with a child here. The garden is wide, and the house is spacious—it'd be perfect for raising a child. How wonderful would it be if you had one?' And she responded, 'You're right, Mother.'" 

She added with a chuckle, "Like I said, I've given up on that idea, but I don't know if they have or not."
