On December 9 episode of SBS POWER FM's radio show "Cultwo Show," Hong Yun-hwa made a guest appearance.
During the show, Hong Yun-hwa mentioned that she recently filmed a YouTube show with JIN.
Revealing that she is part of ARMY (BTS' fandom), Hong Yun-hwa said, "It was my first time meeting again after seeing him during his early debut days. He seemed to have gotten even more handsome."
She shared, "When I was going through a tough time, watching BTS' performances comforted me. The way they shone on stage felt like they were giving me light. That's when I became an ARMY. Seeing their great energy on stage made my heart race."
Hong Yun-hwa continued, "When I was really struggling and feeling down, I always watched BTS fancams. Watching them in 4K made my heart really flutter and gave me strength."
She added humorously, "Personally, I don't like people who can't grill meat properly. I get serious when it comes to meat. But when I filmed with JIN, he brought a basket of premium Korean beef (hanwoo) with him and grilled it for us. He did such an amazing job—it was delicious. There's nothing he can't do!"
On the day of filming, Hong Yun-hwa wore a purple dress, BTS' official color, and shyly confessed JIN about being the group's fan.
Alongside other guests, she participated in intense games with JIN, and they all together enjoyed premium Korean beef later.
JIN grilled the beef for Hong Yun-hwa and the other guests, and they all enjoyed a delicious meal.
