On December 12, a video titled "Officially Introducing My Husband" was uploaded on Han Ye Seul's YouTube channel.
Han Ye Seul said, "Today, I have a really special guest. My husband, who has been mysteriously hiding his face until now, will finally make a proper appearance. Since we got married this year as well, I thought it would be a good idea to introduce my husband before 2024 ends."
Then, the camera showed Ryu Sung-jae, former theater actor, who shyly introduced himself as, "Hi, I'm Han Ye Seul's husband."
One of the questions they got was, "Having a child just like you or growing up with parents just like you?"
As soon as Han Ye Seul received this question, she responded, "I think my husband would choose the latter."
She shared, "When I see my husband taking care of our dog, I think he'd be good at parenting. I'm pretty certain that he would be good at raising kids, so..."
Han Ye Seul chose the former option, then explained, "I'm not interested in the past. So, I think it would be fun to raise a child just like me."
Seeing her husband surprised, Han Ye Seul joked, "That doesn’t mean I want to have a child right now," jokingly adding, "Should I make an appointment with the gynecologist?" which made everyone laugh.
Back in May, Han Ye Seul announced her marriage registration with Ryu Sung-jae, who is 10 years younger than her and with whom she has been in a relationship for over three years.
