'Lee Jong Suk ♥' IU's Heart Flutters as a Hoobae K-Pop Artist Says to Her, "Please Date Me"

A love confession from a cute hoobae made K-pop artist IU's heart flutter.

On December 16, K-pop girl group TWICE guested on IU's YouTube show, 'IU's Palette'.

As she introduced TWICE as the guests, IU talked about her connections to the group members.

"It's been a long time since we last saw each other, right? Strangely, it seems that we happen to see each other a lot in the winter if my memory is accurate.", IU remarked, and the TWICE members nodded.

"That time you guys were guests at my concert was during the winter. We met at several awards ceremonies, which were always in the winter. And today, I had an opportunity to see you guys once again during the winter season."

"Had there been any minor scheduling problem, I would have been unable to have you as a whole group here. What a precious time this is to have you all without any trouble.", IU shared affectionately.
TWICE member NAYEON recounted her first encounter with IU, stating, "It was when we appeared in 'Gayo Daejeon' (SBS' year-end music festival) for the first time, which was soon after we debuted with 'Like OOH-AHH'. The venue was somewhere around COEX, I think."

"When I went to the toilet, I saw you, IU sunbae-nim, washing your hands. You were wearing a purple, off-shoulder velvety top with black pants, and your hair was straight.", NAYEON added, and her meticulous memory stunned everyone.

"I have my fair share of memories with you, NAYEON.", IU remarked, "The most memorable one was the time you handed me a sunflower on my way to accept an award at the Gaon Chart Music Awards."

"You gave me the flower in such a natural manner that I almost believed every winner was supposed to get a flower from you.", IU said and laughed.
After sharing her fond memories of TWICE members, IU stated, "My feelings about TWICE are more than just, 'TWICE members are so pretty, I wish them the best.'. I genuinely like you guys."

TWICE members all lovingly responded, "We love you too!"; among them, TZUYU abruptly added, "Please date me."

Everybody looked at TZUYU in surprise and then started laughing.

IU asked, "Who said that?!", then playfully added, "Oh my goodness, that's heart-fluttering."
Meanwhile, IU is currently in a relationship with actor Lee Jong Suk; their relationship became known to the public in December 2022.
