On December 15 episode of SBS' television show "My Little Old Boy," Oh Yoon-ah appeared as a guest.
During the talk, when Shin Dong-yeob asked, "Does your mom nag you about getting married?" Oh Yoon-ah replied with a laugh, "She says, 'You are perfectly fine, able to walk and everything, but why can't you get married?'"
When asked if she had any thoughts about marriage, Oh Yoon-ah responded, "It's not that I haven't thought about it, but it seems difficult. Especially since I have a child, it makes it even more challenging."
She added, "Lately, I do think about wanting to meet someone I can spend many years with, like a friend. Breaking up and starting over is emotionally exhausting. At this point, I feel like I might as well just not think about it altogether."

The actress began by saying, "He didn't know who I was. "He had studied abroad, so wasn't in Korea during his school years. When he saw me, he said I was his type and started talking to me. When I told him my age, he was shocked. So I asked how old he was, and he told me his age. He was 16 years younger than me."
She continued, "I told him, 'You're not much older than my son,' and he was even more shocked. At the time, my son was around 16 or 17 years old."
When Shin Dong-yeob playfully asked, "So, did you go on a date with him?" Oh Yoon-ah burst into laughter and replied, "No, I didn't. Once he heard my age, he left."

In June 2015, she divorced her husband and has since been raising her son, who has autism, on her own.
