iKON JU-NE Praises Lee Yi Kyung's Professionalism to the Skies

JU-NE of K-pop boy group iKON praised his co-star, Lee Yi Kyung, from "Marry You."

Recently, an interview with JU-NE was held at the Xports News office in Gangnam, Seoul, as part of the Channel A's drama "Marry You" wrap-up.
When Xports News reporter asked about his chemistry with Lee Yi Kyung among the actors he worked with, JU-NE began, "Not just in terms of acting, but as everyone knows, Yi Kyung's been showing great performance in television shows as well. He seems to be someone who's naturally gifted with a great sense for these things. I kept feeling that way on set too."

He continued, "He often improvised and made us laugh. His improvision never strayed from the character, and he would also suggest things to me like, 'If you do it this way, it will be funnier,' or 'How about trying this?' I was grateful that he contributed ideas as a colleague, not as a teacher. He allowed me to try various things on set."
Next, regarding Jo Soo-min, JU-NE said, "Soo Min has a detailed and meticulous acting style. She has a certain framework that she thinks through, in a good way. She is the type who prepares thoroughly." 

He then added that Lee Yi Kyung, unlike Jo Soo-min, takes the mood of the lines and movements into account, then creates things on set.

To this, he was asked which style he resembles more. JU-NE replied, "I think I'm somewhere in between. I don't think I'll ever be the type to lead the set with the quick instincts of Yi Kyung. I hope I can be someone who prepares like Soo-min and also has that sense of balance like Yi Kyung."
