Recently, JEONGYEON, MINA, TZUYU, and DAHYUN guested on DAESUNG's YouTube show "Zip Daesung."
Ahead of TWICE's appearance, DAESUNG shared, "TWICE was seriously the biggest part of my military life," adding, "I don't have a single favorite member. My favorites will change each time TWICE releases a new song."
After excitedly greeting each other, DAESUNG asked, "This is the first time we've met, right?"
DAHYUN replied, "We were actually seated together at the 2015 MAMA Awards," recalling the past.
DAESUNG said, "Oh! Did you guys appear in a lot of television shows back in 2015?" to which DAHYUN responded, "Yes, we did a lot back then."
DAESUNG admitted, "So the problem was with us. That's why we didn't get to meet properly until now. We did one round of television shows in our early debut days but didn't do much after that. But you know, I felt as though I became closer to you during my time in the military despite not meeting you in person."
DAESUNG sighed and commented, "Ah, really? No… The 2024 MAMA Awards as BIGBANG went so well. I managed to make myself look cool and all, but why is that parody suddenly trending again? I thought it would finally be buried after 10 years, but it resurfaced. I hate it!" making the members of TWICE laugh.
Following that, DAESUNG shared, "I watched every girl group's music video for the first time during my military service. I had never seen any before. The first video another guy at my base showed me was 'LIKEY,' and I went crazy at that time. It felt like a whole new world had opened up before my eyes. At that exact moment, I thought I could serve in the military for 10 years just watching that."
He concluded with a laugh, saying, "But of course, meeting you outside is much better."
