Chae Soobin recently had an interview about MBC's concluded television series 'When the Phone Rings' at KINGKONG by STARSHIP headquarters at Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
'When the Phone Rings' follows 'Baek Sa-eon' (Yoo Yeon Seok) and 'Hong Hee-joo' (Chae Soobin), a three-year married couple married for convenience, later finding their love for each other following a series of events.

"I know some fans hope to see us dating in real life. Supposing it means our chemistry as 'Hong Hee-joo' and 'Baek Sa-eon' was great, I'm grateful to hear that."
"I mean, I can relate to that sentiment. When I watch TV series from other countries, I often think, 'Oh, I hope they date each other.'. I'm guessing that's what 'When the Phone Rings' fans are feeling now. I'm so grateful.", Chae Soobin said and laughed.

Chae Soobin shared her parents' contrasting responses to her on-screen romance with Yoo Yeon Seok.
"My mom used to watch it on time with me when it aired on TV, and she seemed to love it. 'Hey, this is fun.', she told me at the end of every episode."

"I later found out that whenever it's the series' regular TV-airing time, my dad visited every acquaintance around the neighborhood and told them to put it on their TV.", she added, sharing how much he cared about her project.
"However, he turned the TV off whenever my kissing scenes came up. That's something he always found difficult to watch. Considering that, this series must have been quite challenging for him to watch.", Chae Soobin playfully shared.
