Ahead of the release of "Love 2" on January 15, BBGIRLS sat down for an interview with the press.
During the interview, the three members―EUNJI, MINYOUNG, and YUNA―talked about their return as a trio following YUJEONG's departure last year.
EUNJI said, "It's been a year and five months since our last comeback, so I'm feeling really nervous, excited, and a bit overwhelmed about this return. The music scene has changed so much, so we've prepared even more carefully. We'll be performing as a trio for the first time, so we've put in a lot of effort. I'm really looking forward to seeing our fans again. I can't wait!"

She continued, "Nothing always go the way I want in life, you know. It's the same for the other members, and the same goes for her too. It's a shame, yes, but we've chosen to respect her decision and support her, and we've ended things well together."
Wrapping up the topic, she added, "To be honest, I wasn't surprised by her decision. We'd had many conversations before, and I could sense something coming. It would be a lie to say I wasn't upset, because I had hoped she would stay a bit longer, especially thinking from the leader's point of view. As a team, it was really disappointing. But on a human level, I could understand her. Most importantly, her wishes matter, so even though I was upset, I truly believed in the end it's her life, and she should decide what's best for herself."
