On January 15 episode of MBC's talk show "Radio Star," Kwak Si-yang appeared as a guest.
During the show, Kwak Si-yang admitted to falling in love while filming a television show in the past.
Kwak Si-yang said, "Back in my early debut days, I filmed 'We Got Married' with So Yeon. Filming always left my heart fluttering for days afterward. I was still just a rookie, and she was a senior who was absolutely stunning. We worked on the show together for about a year, and during the final shoot, it genuinely felt like I was breaking up with someone I was dating. We even ended up shedding tears together that day."
He added with a hint of bitterness, "Not long after it ended, news came out that So Yeon was marrying Lee Sang Woo. I didn't get an invitation to the wedding, but I still sent my congratulations."

In the video, Kwak Si-yang was seen approaching her then-fiancé Lee Sang Woo and saying, "Please take good care of my wife, hyung," without knowing they were actually together.
As Kwak Si-yang left the set, Lee Sang Woo remained completely focused on his work, which turned the moment into an even more amusing scene that had the Radio Star cast bursting into laughter.

"I'm 38 now, and I really want to get married soon. But the thing is, I don't have the money for it."
When the host Kim Gu-ra asked, "How bad are your financial struggles?" Kwak Si-yang responded, "I've paid off all the family debt. Being the youngest in the family, born much later, my parents aren't in great health, and hospital expenses have turned out to be more costly than I anticipated."
About his preferred relationship style, Kwak Si-yang shared, "I enjoy listening to my partner and prefer to be led in a relationship. I don't have many things I feel strongly about doing first. One thing I do enjoy is watching baseball games. I'd love to walk the Camino de Santiago someday, though it might not appeal to everyone. If our preferences don't align, it could be challenging."
