News source My Daily made an exclusive report on January 20 that Mijoo and Song Bum-keun had recently broken up.
An insider well-acquainted with both of them reportedly said, "Mijoo and Song Bum-keun have broken up."
"They shared a lovely relationship, but the burden of their relationship being public affected them. Although the two have split, they resolved to keep rooting for one another."
"We cannot confirm a matter concerning artists' private life. Thank you for understanding.", Mijoo's management agency, Antenna, said in response to the report, not confirming nor denying it.
When Mijoo and Song Bum-keun's relationship went public in April last year, fans found evidence of the couple's affection displayed on their Instagram postings.
Fans found out the two had been 'lovestagramming', uploading photos of themselves at the same places, apparently taken by each other on their dates.
However, these 'lovestagram' posts have been removed from both Instagram accounts, increasing suspicion that the two have parted ways.
Mijoo debuted as a member of K-pop girl group Lovelyz in 2014.
However, the group disbanded as their contract with Woolim Entertainment expired in 2021, and the members went their separate ways.
Mijoo signed an exclusive contract with Antenna and debuted as a solo artist in 2023.
She has recently been appearing on various entertainment shows, captivating viewers with her charm.
