Park Ha Seon Recalls Ryu Soo Young Constantly Trying to Break Up with Her Before Marriage

Actress Park Ha Seon recalled the hard times she had during her relationship with her husband, actor Ryu Soo Young, before they got married.

On January 21 episode of SBS' television show "Four Men," Park Ha Seon made a guest appearance. 

During the talk with the hosts, Park Ha Seon shared about her relationship with Ryu Soo Young before their marriage. 

Park Ha Seon said, "Before we got married, Ryu Soo Young would always say we were done and wanted to break up with me."
Park Ha Seon then explained that just six months after meeting Ryu Soo Young, he proposed to her. 

She remembered, "About a week into dating, I was filming a drama with a wedding scene, and I jokingly said, 'When are we getting married?' And Ryu Soo Young responded, 'Let's get married in the fall.' Six months later, he proposed."

But she admitted, "I was too young at the time, so I held on for some time after that. I wanted to work on one more project before we got married, but I think it was difficult for Ryu Soo Young to wait that long."
Park Ha Seon added, "Back then, Ryu Soo Young would constantly bring up breaking up, and it made things so stressful for me. I just couldn't figure out why as well, like he kept saying that he wanted to break up with me after we'd already made the wedding plans." 

She explained, "Later, a close mutual friend of ours told me, 'Do you know how much Ryu Soo Young wanted to marry you? He was so desperate.' Turns out, Ryu Soo Young was eager to get married, and all of it was part of him playing hard to get," then chuckled.
Park Ha Seon and Ryu Soo Young went public with their relationship in August 2015 and tied the knot in January 2017. They have one daughter together.
