Im Ji Yeon recently spoke with a news source about JTBC's concluded television series 'The Tale of Lady Ok' at a café in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
The actress discussed how she feels about still being referred to as 'Park Yeon-jin', the role she played in Netflix's mega-hit series 'The Glory'.
"I appreciate that people are still mentioning 'Yeon-jin' a lot. It appears that the name naturally follows my name now. I hope people would continue to call me by that.", she said, expressing her affection for the series.

"After Joo Young told me about her concerns about the 'The Queen Who Crowns' script, I joined 'The Tale of Lady Ok', which is also a historical drama. We began working on the respective projects at a similar time. Joo Young and I relied much on one another during filming.", Im Ji Yeon said.
"I watched the first two episodes of her series before its reveal. I was quite nervous the day 'The Queen Who Crowns' first aired. She was as amazing as I expected her to be. Watching the series on TV brought back memories of us discussing concerns with one another, which still feels like yesterday."

"She is quite talkative in private settings. It's like she's my actual older sister. Although she's a sunbae-nim to me, she makes me feel like she's simply an unnie I'm close to. She makes me feel comfortable around her, and there's much to learn from her as an actress."
The actress resumed, "Though she is not like, telling us younger actresses around her to learn from her, we just get to. I think that's why junior actresses adore her. She always treats us to delicious meals, keeps an eye on our projects, and supports us by showing up for our film's premiere."
"Her treatment of her hoobaes taught me a lot. It made me want to be like her, a friendly sunbae. I wish my hoobaes could feel that way about me."
