On February 2, Son Suk-ku guested on JTBC's TV show 'Chef & My Fridge'.
Son Suk-ku talked about his new project on the show, JTBC's upcoming television series 'Heavenly Ever After', scheduled to air this April.
"It's a love story about a married couple in the twilight of their lives. I'm playing Kim Hye-ja's husband in there.", Son Suk-ku remarked.
The idea of Son Suk-ku and Kim Hye-ja playing a married couple surprised everyone at the studio, as the age gap between them is 42 years.

"'Hae-sook' decides to live as an 80-year-old because of her husband, who went to heaven before her. Before he passed away, he told her, 'My darling, you are at your prettiest right now.'."
"But as she reunites with her husband in heaven, she finds out that he chose to return to his 30s.", the actor said, explaining that his role is the husband of 'Hae-sook' in his 30s.

"For my new project, I was looking for an ultimate romance one could imagine.", Son Suk-ku replied.
"When the 'Heavenly Ever After' director asked Kim Hye-ja which actor she would prefer for her partnering male role, she answered that she liked me, 'Mr. Gu' from 'My Liberation Notes'. That's what I heard.", Son Suk-ku said with a grin.
The actor continued, "Filming this project has been an exceptional acting experience that I may never experience again."
"Above all, my chemistry with Kim Hye-ja in the series is amazing. You'll witness a chemistry between two people transcending generational difference and age gap.", he added.
