A Friend Recounts DJ Koo's Last Moment With Wife Barbie Hsu Following Her Sudden Passing

The story of dance music duo Clon member DJ Koo's final farewell to his wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, who recently passed away, has been shared.

On February 3, Taiwanese entertainer Janet Chia shared her sorrow on Instagram following the unexpected loss of her dear friend, Barbie Hsu.

Janet Chia said she rushed to Barbie Hsu's side the moment she found out her friend had passed away.

"She looked as peaceful as ever like she was asleep. Though my heart shattered, I had no other choice but to let her go."
Janet Chia continued, "He (DJ Koo) bid her farewell with a kiss. The sound of him crying ached our hearts."

"He sent me a selfie he took with her that day. Tears kept flowing in my eyes as I saw the picture.", she wrote, sharing her photo with the deceased from the past.

Expressing her deep grief, she added, "Barbie Hsu left so abruptly. Her family and friends are all in pain, having a hard time accepting her death. I ask everyone to give them more space and time, more love and care."
On February 3, it was reported that Barbie Hsu, at the age of 48, had died of complications from pneumonia while on vacation in Japan.

Her sudden passing shocked many, especially as her love story with DJ Koo gained a lot of attention over the past few years.

The two first met in 1998 and fell in love, but broke up after dating for a year and went on separate ways.

Barbie Hsu married Chinese entrepreneur Wang Xiaofei in 2011 and had two children; however, the marriage ended in divorce in 2021.

In March 2022, DJ Koo took to his Instagram to announce that he and Barbie Hsu rekindled their love after over twenty years.

"I'm getting married. Twenty years ago, I and the woman I love left our love hanging, unable to complete it. Now we're back and trying once again."
"After learning about her divorce, I found her old phone number from twenty years ago and contacted her. Thankfully, she was using the same number, and we were able to reconnect.", DJ Koo wrote.

The couple tied the knot, registering their marriage in Korea and Taiwan.

The dramatic romance between DJ Koo and Barbie Hsu has captured the hearts of many.

With Barbie Hsu's sudden passing, the couple's untimely separation is causing a wave of sadness.
