Jun Hyo Seong Shares She Is Facing Challenges of Finding Work in the Industry These Days

K-pop girl group Secret's member Jun Hyo Seong talked about challenges of finding work in the industry these days. 

On February 2 episode of tvN's television show "Handsome Guys," the cast split into teams for a race to visit celebrities born in the Year of the Snake.

Actor Lee Yi Kyung visited Jun Hyo Seong's home and joked, "Hyo Seong usually doesn't do things like this, but I helped her out when she was working on her YouTube channel. So it probably would've been awkward for her to turn me down when I asked to visit today."

About her colorful home, Jun Hyo Seong explained, "I like colorful things. I used to prefer an all-white interior, but I wanted to give it a colorful makeover, so I painted and decorated everything myself." 
As this was her first broadcast appearance in a while, she shared an update on her life, saying, "I've been preparing for things, but it's so hard landing any projects in the industry right now. The industry itself is struggling too, so my plans keep getting pushed back. I'm currently out of work, but I'm getting ready to release an album within the year." 

When asked about her daily routine, she replied, "I wake up at 6 AM feed my cat, exercise, wash up, clean, do the dishes, and then lie down. Once the sun sets, I go to bed. I start lying down at 8 PM, and by the time I turn off all the lights at 9 PM, I'm all sleepy."

Hearing this, Lee Yi Kyung laughed and said, "You're just like my grandma," adding, "If a celebrity isn't working, they're basically jobless." 

Jun Hyo Seong agreed with a laugh, saying, "Yeah, I guess I'm jobless right now—half-jobless." 
She also got a tarot reading for 2025 and asked about her love life, saying, "I'm not thinking about dating, but apparently, if I date, I won't be able to work. I'd like to know if this is right."

Previously, the cards in her reading had been filled with golden hues, but when it came to romance, only dark and ominous cards appeared, shocking Jun Hyo Seong. 

Jun Hyo Seong reacted by saying, "Well, I really have no intention of dating. I just stay home. I'll just focus on working harder."
