'Amazing Saturday' Casts Say Hyeri Never Held Back in Dealing With Alcohol & Cigarette Breath

Entertainer Boom, comedian Moon Se Yoon, and hip-hop artist Hanhae shared their memories of former 'Amazing Saturday' cast, Hyeri of K-pop girl group Girl's Day.

On February 3, Moon Se Yoon and Hanhae guested on Boom's YouTube channel, 'YOUTUBOOM'.

In the video, three of them talked about tvN's television show 'Amazing Saturday', in which they have been appearing regularly.

Boom mentioned Hyeri, who used to be their fellow cast member; "Hyeri just knew it whenever we male cast members had a few drinks before filming."

"Whenever she noticed the smell of alcohol from any one of us, she screamed, 'Oppa, you stink of alcohol!'. She never held back, even in the middle of filming.", he remembered.
"There was something she disliked more than the alcohol smell.", Moon Se Yoon noted and told the story of the time Hyeri scolded him for smoking a cigarette.

One fateful day, the comedian recalled, the production asked him to sit beside Hyeri at the studio.

"I usually sit at the side-most end. But that day, they asked me to take a center seat next to Hyeri. Though I initially refused, the production eventually convinced me.", said Moon Se Yoon.

"I used to smoke cigarettes back then; it was after I bummed one that I sat at my new seat.", he remembered.
"As soon as I sat down, Hyeri looked at me and...", Moon Se Yoon said and reenacted how Hyeri clutched her nose and let out a shriek, which caused Boom and Hanhae to break down laughing.

"She was like, 'Yuck! He stinks of cigarette!'. When it comes to stuff like that, Hyeri doesn't care if the cameras are rolling.", Moon Se Yoon hilariously said.

He resumed, "Hyeri was like, 'Why did you smoke?'. I said I smoked during the break. Then, she went, 'I mean, why would you? It stinks!'."

"I asked to change my seat. I was very flustered, and it showed in my eyes. Boom looked at me and let me return to my usual seat.", Moon Se Yoon remembered.
Moon Se Yoon continued, "What was the funniest back then was that (Shin) Dong-yeob behaved as if nothing had happened. He pretended like he hadn't heard anything!"

"Back then, Hyeri was the leader on set.", Boom playfully remarked.

"I stopped smoking cigarettes since then. I still can't forget how Hyeri scolded me that day. It was terrifying.", added Moon Se Yoon.
