T.O.P & YG Ent. Respond to Rumors of T.O.P's Return to BIGBANG
Both actor T.O.P and K-pop boy group BIGBANG's agency, YG Entertainment, quickly denied rumors of T.O.P's return to the group.

Recently, online communities have been buzzing with rumors of T.O.P's possible return to BIGBANG.

This speculation arose after fans noticed that his name was still included in BIGBANG's official YouTube channel, and T.O.P himself updated his Instagram profile to display "TOP Choi Seung-hyun" along with a new profile picture.

However, it turned out BIGBANG's YouTube profile and T.O.P's name had remained unchanged for a long time, and no discussions about his return to the group have taken place.
T.O.POn February 11, a representative for T.O.P clarified to the media, "The name 'TOP' has always been listed in his profile for some time; it wasn't recently added."

Regarding the rumors of his return, they added, "As he mentioned in his 'Squid Game 2' interview, he still feels apologetic toward the members of BIGBANG, and no discussions about rejoining BIGBANG have occurred."

Similarly, YG Entertainment, told the media, "The YouTube profile has remained unchanged since the release of 'Still Life.' Ever since the song's release, the names of the participating members—G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, T.O.P, and DAESUNG—were listed."
T.O.PIn a recent interview for Netflix's series "Squid Game 2," T.O.P reflected on his departure from BIGBANG.

"I was brought significant trouble to the team. As my contract was coming to an end, I felt it was only right to leave after 'Still Life.' Going back just didn't feel like an option—I knew I had to own up to my mistakes and face the consequences. More than anything, I didn't want to be a burden to the group because of what I had done."

In 2016, T.O.P was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year probation for marijuana use.
