Song Il Kook Describes Appearing on 'Return of Superman' with Triplets as the Greatest Gift of His Life

Actor Song Il Kook said he has no regrets about appearing on "The Return of Superman" with his triplets―Daehan, Minguk, and Manse. 

On February 10 episode of KBS' television show "Car Wash JANG," Song Il Kook appeared as a guest.

As they washed Song Il Kook's car together, singer Jang Min-ho asked, "There’s something I've always wanted to ask you. Your triplets, Daehan, Minguk, and Manse, were on 'The Return of Superman' for quite some time. Have you ever regretted putting them on the show and thought, 'Maybe it was a mistake. I shouldn't have put them on the show'?"
Song Il Kook responded, "Actually, I didn't regret it afterward—I worried about it beforehand. I spent a lot of time thinking about whether having them on the show would be good for them. But wasn't that their most adorable stage? What parent gets to have such precious footage of their kids? I have absolutely no regrets."

When asked if his kids are now old enough to look back at their "The Return of Superman" videos, he said, "I'm actually the one who goes back and watches them. At the time, I was so exhausted I felt like I was going to collapse, but now, those videos feel like the greatest gift of my life."
Song Il Kook and his triplets appeared on "The Return of Superman" from July 2014 to February 2016, winning the hearts of viewers across the nation and even beyond.

Born in March 2012, Daehan, Minguk, and Manse are now approaching their 13th birthday and are set to enter middle school this year.

Recently, they surprised everyone by appearing on a show with a height well over 175 cm.
