'The Man from Nowhere' Won Bin Attends Kim Saeron's Funeral, Looking Devastated
Actor Won Bin, who starred alongside actress Kim Saeron in "The Man from Nowhere," attended her funeral to pay his final respects.

On February 17, Kim Saeron's funeral was held at Seoul Asan Medical Center in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

Shortly after her funeral was arranged, Won Bin arrived, unable to hide his grief.

Earlier, his agency, Eden9, sent a wreath to the funeral on behalf of Won Bin and his wife, actress Lee Nayoung, with a message that read, "Rest in peace."
Kim SaeronThe two starred together in "The Man from Nowhere (2010)," a film about Tae-sik (Won Bin), a former special agent who comes out of seclusion to rescue his kidnapped neighbor, a young girl named So-mi (Kim Saeron), from a criminal organization. The movie was a huge hit at the time.

The late actress rose to fame through the film, quickly becoming one of Korea's most promising young talents. Despite its R rating, it was a box office success, drawing over 6.28 million viewers.

Kim Saeron received widespread acclaim for her performance, earning the Best New Actress award at the 8th Korean Film Awards. 

Since then, she built a successful and prolific acting career.
Kim SaeronBack on February 16, Kim Saeron was found dead at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. 

A friend who was supposed to meet her went to her apartment around 5 PM and immediately called the police after finding her unconscious.

No suicide note was found, but there were no signs of forced entry or foul play.

Following an investigation, police concluded, "We believe she took her own life and will officially classify it as an unattended death."
