Jennie will globally release "ExtraL," a collaboration track with American rapper Doechii, on the 21st at 2 PM KST, which is part of her first solo studio album, "Ruby."
Previously, Jennie surprised her global fans by announcing the pre-release schedule for the track on her official social media. Even though the teaser video is only about 10 seconds long, its stylish typography combined with a captivating beat quickly draws viewers in, leaving a strong impact.
Doechii has made a significant mark in the hip-hop scene, winning the Best Rap Album award at the 67th Grammy Awards for "Alligator Bites Never Heal," and has gained worldwide popularity. The collaboration between Jennie and Doechii, both known for their unique rap styles, has generated high expectations among fans around the globe.
Jennie's first solo studio album, "Ruby," showcases her limitless musical potential, featuring a total of 15 tracks across various genres, including "Mantra," "ZEN," "Love Hangover," and "ExtraL." Notably, the album includes collaborations with global artists such as Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and Kali Uchis.
In celebration of the release of "Ruby," Jennie will hold "The Ruby Experience" shows in Los Angeles, New York, and Seoul. The event will kick off at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on March 6-7, followed by performances at Radio City Music Hall in New York on the 10th and Inspire Arena on the 15th.
