[SBS Entertainment News | Kang Kyung-youn] BTS member J-Hope has generously donated 200 million won to support the development of a children's hospital. He has promised that this donation will continue annually in honor of his birthday.
On February 18, coinciding with his birthday, J-Hope presented the donation to Seoul Asan Medical Center. The hospital plans to use the funds to improve medical facilities and environments for pediatric patients, as well as to support research on severe and rare pediatric diseases.
J-Hope had previously donated 100 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center in 2022.
He expressed, "I hope this small contribution can help children who are suffering at this very moment," adding, "I sincerely wish for children to dream of a healthy and hopeful future." He shared his motivation for the significant donation.
He continued, "I wanted to give back to the 'ARMY' (the name of his fanbase) who always send me so much love," emphasizing, "I am truly grateful and feel that starting this year, I will continue to donate every year on my birthday."
