[SBS Entertainment News | Kang Kyung-youn] The group ONF, who have completed their military service together, expressed their determination to showcase their skills as a 'performance powerhouse' following their reputation as a 'hit song powerhouse.'
On the 18th, a showcase was held at the Blue Square in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of ONF's second full album Part.1 [ONF: MY IDENTITY].
Despite being in their seventh year since debut, ONF has yet to achieve a 'number one' on terrestrial music broadcasts. They stated, "Through this album's activities, we will clearly show our team's identity."
The second full album, released four years after their first full album [ONF: MY NAME] in 2021, features producer Hwang Hyun, who has been with them since their debut, along with members Min-kyu and Wyatt participating in the album.
The members explained that their collaboration with the highly trusted producer Hwang Hyun helped express ONF's musical identity even better.
Seung-jun emphasized, "We have prepared expanded music and performances since our last full album four years ago. We want to convey the strength to move forward to people as dream-chasing travelers. We will become 'one and only' based on our own standards, not the world's."
The members of ONF are continuing their activities after completing their military service together, reflecting their commitment to 'stay active for a long time.'
Min-kyu expressed, "I want to be together for a long time like our seniors in god, who recently held concerts." Wyatt added, "We will be together until we die." Seung-jun shared, "We will dance together until our joints give out," conveying their hope to become a long-lasting group like god.
The members' goal for this album is to achieve a 'career high.' Seung-jun mentioned, "We have ranked number one on 'The Show' before, but we have never achieved that on terrestrial broadcasts. I really want to be number one on a terrestrial music show." He also expressed his desire to go on a 'world tour.'
ONF, making their comeback after 10 months, is releasing their second full album four years after their first full album [ONF: MY NAME] in 2021. All tracks will be available at 6 PM on the 18th.
