On February 19, Chae Soobin guested on comedian Lee Yong-jin's YouTube show "Yongtarot."
"Yongtarot" is a YouTube show where Lee Yong-jin does tarot card readings for his guests.
On this day, Chae Soobin shared with Lee Yong-jin, "Right now, I'm focused on work and other things, so getting married isn't something I can do at the moment. But if I wait too long, there might be no one left to marry. When do you think would be the right time for me to get married?" and requested a tarot reading.
Chae Soobin responded, "First, they need to be smart and someone I can trust," adding that she is not into the "bad boy" type.
When asked if intelligence meant academic success, Chae Soobin responded, "It's not about academics."
She explained, "My dad is really smart and has a high IQ, but his EQ is low, so he always gets told off by my mom," and emphasized, "They need to have a high emotional IQ."
She also mentioned, "Physical appearance isn't that important to me anymore," adding, "It's not that I completely ignore looks, but as long as he appears kind, I'm good with it."
Chae Soobin continued, "The most important thing is being able to communicate well. I like asking 'what if' questions. When I ask them, it should lead to a fun back-and-forth. But if they respond with, 'Why are you asking that?' I don't want to talk to them anymore."
In response, Lee Yong-jin, through the tarot reading, told her, "No matter what you do, there are plenty of people who will support you. You have a lot of good connections. But in the end, the decision about marriage will be entirely up to you, Soobin."
