On February 20, ONEW of boy group SHINee's management agency Griffin Entertainment announced on social media that Lee Su-hyun will not be performing at his concert, "ONEW THE LIVE: CONNECTION," the next day.
The agency stated, "Lee Su-hyun, who was supposed to be a guest at ONEW's concert, unfortunately won't be able to perform at the venue."
They continued, "We sincerely apologize for the sudden news to those who were looking forward to ONEW and Lee Su-hyun's amazing duet performance," and added, "We will do our best to deliver an even better show. We ask for your understanding."
Lee Su-hyun was set to perform as a guest at ONEW's concert, scheduled for the evening of the 21st at Olympic Hall in Seoul's Olympic Park.

The two had been signed to YG Entertainment in the past and had publicly expressed their friendship.
After Kim Saeron's passing, Lee Su-hyun was seen attending the funeral to say her final goodbye to her friend.
At the funeral, Lee Su-hyun was reported to have cried nonstop.
