According to the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) on the 24th, Lisa will showcase her new song "Born Again" at the 97th Academy Awards, which will be held on March 2 (local time) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The performance will also feature American rapper Doja Cat and British singer-songwriter RAYE, who collaborated on the track.
Lisa is the first K-Pop artist to perform at the Academy Awards.
"Born Again" is a track from Lisa's first solo studio album, "Alter Ego," which will be released on the 28th. The song, which was pre-released on the 7th, debuted at No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 13 on the UK Official Top 100. This will be Lisa's first time performing her new song live.
The Academy Awards celebration will also feature Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, the stars of the film "Wicked," who are both nominated for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively.
This year's Academy Awards will take place on March 2 at 7 PM. The event will be hosted by the famous American comedian Conan O'Brien.
