Son Suk-ku Recalls Getting Upset After His Ex Jumped Into a New Relationship Right Away
Actor Son Suk-ku recalled a time when he got upset after finding out his ex-girlfriend had started dating someone else shortly after their breakup.

On February 25, a video featuring Son Suk-ku as a guest was uploaded to actress Yoo In Na's YouTube channel "Yoo In Radio."

In this episode, Son Suk-ku was seen reading a story sent in by a listener.

The story was about this listener who, after a five-year relationship, found out that his ex-girlfriend posted photos with a new boyfriend wearing matching rings just a month after they broke up.
Son Suk-kuAfter reading the story, Son Suk-ku said, "I really felt that one. I can relate—I've been through something like that."

He went on, "This happened a while ago. I dated this girl when I was abroad, but I happened to come back to Korea. So, we tried long-distance, but eventually, we broke up. Actually, I was the one who ended it. We agreed to stay friends, but not long after we broke up, I found out she was dating someone else. I remember getting really upset and saying over a video call, 'Seriously? How could you? This is so wrong!'"
Son Suk-kuWhen Yoo In Na asked, "How long do you think it's respectful to wait before dating again after a breakup?" Son Suk-ku replied, "If you've broken up, I think it's better not to show any signs of being in a relationship with someone else around the person you just broke up with."

He added, "But at some point, you do have to move on, right? In your 20s, maybe two months. In your 30s, three months. If you were together for two years, maybe two months; for three years, three months."

Then, laughing, he said, "This really needs a name," and Yoo In Na quickly responded, "It should definitely be called the 'Son Suk-ku Rule,'" which made both of them laugh.
