[SBS Entertainment News | Kang Kyung-youn] Teen Top's Niel is embarking on a solo journey by establishing his own agency.
On the 4th, Niel announced, "I have founded EL&D Entertainment, where I will serve as both the CEO and an artist, marking a new beginning."
The name EL&D represents Niel's 'EL' and his real name, Daniel, with 'D.' It signifies his intention to showcase various aspects of his entertainer persona and personal charm that he has yet to reveal.
Through his new agency, Niel expressed, "I can't say that I have no fear or pressure about this new endeavor, but I also feel a great sense of excitement. I am grateful for the unwavering support from my fans, which gives me strength." He added, "I will strive to deliver fresh emotions and joy through a variety of activities in the future."
He continued, "I want to solidify and develop my own musical style," and requested, "Just as you have watched my growth so far, I hope for your continued support as I take on new challenges with EL&D Entertainment."
Niel debuted in 2010 as a member of Teen Top, a group known for numerous hits such as "Clap," "No Joke," "Going Crazy," and "To You." He gained popularity as the main vocalist of the group, showcasing his captivating voice, powerful singing ability, and impressive performances.
In 2015, Niel released his first solo album, 'oNIELy,' establishing his presence as a solo artist. In 2024, he held his first solo concert after nine years of solo debut. Additionally, Niel has made a name for himself as a versatile artist, appearing in dramas, films, and musicals.
As he embarks on this new chapter with his agency, Niel is currently preparing a new album, aiming for a release in the first half of this year.
