"Even on His Day Off..." A Crew Member Reflects on Park Bo Gum's Genuine Kindness

A crew member who worked with actor Park Bo Gum shared a heartwarming story that gained attention online.

On March 1, the YouTube channel DdeunDdeun featured Netflix series "When Life Gives You Tangerines" cast, Park Bo Gum and singer IU, as guests.

Among the comments on the video, one by a person claiming to be a staff member from the 2020 tvN's drama "Record of Youth" caught attention.
They began by greeting Park Bo Gum, saying, "It's been a while, Bo Gum," and went on to recall several moments with him. 

"Bo Gum, who took the bus alone on his day off just to visit us with pizza. Bo Gum, who passed out slices of pizza to everyone and chatted with us for three hours. Bo Gum, who rewatched his own scenes for hours to improve himself. Bo Gum, who walked around with a notepad, taking coffee orders for everyone. Bo Gum, who held up his phone, suggesting we take a picture before heading home. Bo Gum, who would write long, heartfelt replies even to emails with nothing but a single video. Bo Gum, who stopped by to say goodbye to me three days before my military enlistment. Bo Gum, who always showed up like a caring little brother. He was that sort of person. Truly amazing."

They continued, "I'll never forget all this. There are so many more stories like these, but I can't even begin to write them all. He's the kindest person I've ever met, and I truly believe he always will be. I hope he achieves even greater success and that we get to see him on screen for as long as possible. I sincerely support him."
