Actor Yoo Ji-tae has signed an exclusive contract with MS Team Entertainment, joining fellow stars Son Ye-jin, Lee Min-jung, Wi Ha-jun, Go Sung-hee, Hong Gi-jun, and Son Jung-hyuk.

On the 7th, MS Team Entertainment announced, "We plan to actively support actor Yoo Ji-tae in his artistic endeavors and various activities he has pursued so far through open communication."

Yoo Ji-tae made his debut in 1998 with the film "Bye June," gaining public recognition through "The Gas Station" and rising to prominence with "Ditto." He solidified his status as a talented actor with consecutive hits like "Spring Days" and "Oldboy."

Since then, Yoo Ji-tae has expanded his acting spectrum by showcasing diverse images in dramas such as "The Good Wife" and "Mad Dog," as well as films like "Split," "The Swindlers," and "Money." He has reaffirmed his presence with powerful performances in global series like "Vigilante" and "Money Heist."

In addition to acting, Yoo Ji-tae has been involved in various activities, including screenwriting and directing films, as well as supporting independent cinema. He took his first step as a film director with the short film "The Bicycle Boy" in 2003 and has since written and directed several short films. His film "Invitation" was invited to the IndiePanda International Short Film Festival and the Jeju Film Festival in 2009, and he received the Jury's Special Award at the Deauville Asian Film Festival for his feature film "My Ratima" in 2013, recognizing his directorial skills.

Yoo Ji-tae has been consistently supporting independent films since hosting the screening event "Watching Independent Films with Yoo Ji-tae" in 2012, including contributions to the remodeling of the Seoul Art Cinema and donations to the "Wildflower Film Awards."

In 2025, he is expected to be active in various projects. He will portray a heartbroken lover in director Lim Sun-ae's film "Breakfast Meeting for the Heartbroken," and will deliver a powerful performance as a charismatic figure of the highest power in the Joseon Dynasty in director Jang Hang-jun's film "The King Lives" (tentative title).
