The animated film 'Attack on Titan: The Last Attack' made a spectacular debut, trailing 'Mickey 17' by just 3,000 viewers.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie tickets, 'Attack on Titan: The Last Attack,' which premiered on March 13, attracted 37,674 viewers, debuting at No. 2 at the box office. It was approximately 3,000 viewers behind the No. 1 film, 'Mickey 17.'

On its opening day, 'Attack on Titan: The Last Attack' was shown on 335 screens with 904 screenings. In contrast, 'Mickey 17' was shown on 1,428 screens with 4,422 screenings. Considering that 'Mickey 17' had more than four times the number of screens and showings, 'Attack on Titan: The Last Attack' performed remarkably well. This is especially impressive given that it was exclusively released in Megabox theaters.

'Attack on Titan: The Last Attack' is a 144-minute theatrical version edited from the final season of the popular TV anime based on Hajime Isayama's manga 'Attack on Titan.' It depicts the final battle between Eren, who seeks to destroy the world after uncovering its secrets, and the Survey Corps trying to stop him.

'Mickey 17' has maintained its No. 1 position since its release, surpassing 2 million viewers, but its momentum has noticeably slowed in its third week. With its strong debut, 'Attack on Titan: The Last Attack' is drawing attention to see if it can pull off an upset at the box office this weekend.
