Actor Ha Jung-woo is set to resume his activities just four days after undergoing emergency surgery for acute appendicitis.
Today, on the 28th, Ha Jung-woo will attend the "Gather Around, Umji-rella Fans" event at Megabox COEX Auditorium 8, alongside Um Ji-yoon and Lee Sun-min. The event will feature Ha Jung-woo, who is both the director and an actor in the film, as well as cast members Kim Eui-sung, Kang Hae-rim, Lee Dong-hwi, and Kang Mal-geum. They will share stories with the audience and reveal behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the movie.
Previously, on the 25th, Ha Jung-woo had to undergo emergency surgery for acute appendicitis, which prevented him from attending the press screening of 'Lobby.' He also missed an event scheduled for the 26th.
Media interviews have been postponed to next week. However, he decided to go ahead with today's GV (Guest Visit) event, as he felt it was important not to delay meeting with the audience any further.
'Lobby' tells the story of Chang-wook (played by Ha Jung-woo), a startup CEO who knows nothing but research, as he embarks on his first-ever lobbying golf game to secure a 4 trillion won government project. This film marks Ha Jung-woo's return to directing after a decade, following 'Fasten Your Seatbelt' (2013) and 'Chronicle of a Blood Merchant' (2015).
The movie is set to be released on April 2nd.
