Set to premiere on Friday, the 18th, SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'The Haunted Palace' (written by Yoon Soo-jung, directed by Yoon Sung-sik) is a fantasy romantic comedy that follows the story of Yeori, a shaman who rejects her destined path, and Imoogi Kang Cheol, who is trapped in the body of Yeori's first love, Yoon Gap. Together, they face the vengeful spirit Palcheokgui, leading to a tangled web of bodies and souls. Directed by Yoon Sung-sik, known for 'Mr. Queen', 'You Are the Best!', 'Bridal Mask', and 'Dae Jo Yeong', and written by Yoon Soo-jung, who penned 'The King's Face' and 'Cheer Up!', the drama promises a fresh and dynamic cast including Yook Sung-jae (as Yoon Gap/Kang Cheol), Kim Ji-yeon (as Yeori), and Kim Ji-hoon (as Lee Jeong), generating much anticipation.

Yook Sung-jae plays Yoon Gap, a royal librarian possessed by the malevolent Imoogi, Kang Cheol, who is also Yeori's first love. On the 4th, 'The Haunted Palace' released its second teaser, showcasing the thrilling narrative of Imoogi Kang Cheol, shaman Yeori, and King Lee Jeong as they confront the mystery of the palace-devouring Palcheokgui.

The teaser video captures the curiosity as Kang Cheol, possessing the body of the loyal Yoon Gap, enters the palace at the king's summons. When the king accuses him, saying, "You are not Yoon Gap," Kang Cheol dramatically summons lightning, declaring, "I am Kang Cheol," thus opening the curtain on this K-fantasy world. The king's frustration at Kang Cheol's audacity and his unflinching, arrogant demeanor create a humorous contrast.
