The group DAY6, known for their reliable music, reflected on their journey to becoming a trusted name in the industry, riding the waves of both unexpected and steady success.
In a recent interview with 'D-icon,' DAY6 looked back on their past. The joy of seeing both their past and new releases top the music charts was attributed to 'hope' and their fans, 'My Day.' Although their journey was slow, they never let go of hope, enduring the time with their fanbase.
Even during dark times, DAY6 held onto hope. They were not discouraged by the lack of spotlight. SUNGJIN stated, "As long as hope isn't broken, I believe one can reach the life they aspire to. It was the same for us." He emphasized, "No flower blooms without trials; it's just that the timing of blooming differs."
They always did their best, motivated by the desire to repay the shining support of My Day. The culmination of their best efforts is what DAY6 is today.

Young K highlighted, "The essence of DAY6's music is time. It's not about racing towards a specific point but flowing with time. It's the result of the members, our supporters, and each My Day coming together."
Last winter, DAY6 became the first Korean band to perform at the Gocheok Sky Dome. Singing their debut track 'Congratulations' to a packed audience, the members marveled, "Days like this do come."
Such success was inevitable. From their debut, they were tagged as a "trustworthy band," striving to create music they and their fans could be proud of.
WONPIL shared, "If you're satisfied, there's no room for growth. That's why we always seek improvement," adding, "There were challenging times, but the songs that emerged from those periods are what we have now."

Last year alone, they sold out three venues: Jamsil Indoor Stadium, Incheon Inspire Arena, and Gocheok Sky Dome. They are also successfully continuing their national and world tours.
DAY6 has consistently performed without rest, always giving their best in the present moment. Their next goal is not just a bigger venue but personal growth.
DOWOON expressed, "Last year was incredibly busy, yet I still feel there's room for improvement in my drumming. I feel like I stayed in one place due to the busyness. I want to grow more."
