The band Jannabi is set to embark on a new journey, starting with a fundamental question about the essence of music.
Ahead of the release of their 4th studio album on the 28th, Jannabi has kicked off their comeback preparations by unveiling a prologue self-interview and new profile photos.
The self-interview hints at the philosophy and direction of the upcoming album, which begins with the fundamental question, "What is music?" The members shared that throughout the creative process, they focused on the key themes of joy, essence, and freedom, expressing their unique musical sensibilities.
Choi Jung-hoon reflected on how he had come to view music as a profession and expressed his desire to return to the original feeling of joy. He described the project as "an honest journey capturing the gap between fantasy and reality."
Kim Do-hyung also shared that he focused on creating music in a more intuitive and free manner, breaking away from traditional methods. He emphasized that rather than striving for perfection, he followed the emotions and inspirations of the moment, resulting in an album that holds special meaning for him.
Both members mentioned that they aimed to convey nostalgia in their own unique way through this album. Rather than simply reviving retro styles, they promised a sound collage edited with a modern touch, suggesting that the 4th studio album will showcase a different musical color.
The newly released profile photos have further heightened anticipation for their comeback. Captured in a relaxed atmosphere with natural light, the photos reflect Jannabi's distinctive artistry and warmth. The natural appearance of the two members with their instruments visually expresses the album's analog sensibility and human touch, capturing attention.

Meanwhile, Jannabi is set to hold a solo concert titled 'All the Boys and Girls 2025' on the 26th and 27th at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, just before the album release.
