'Yadang: The Snitch' is a crime action film that weaves together the stories of a broker named 'Yadang' who designs the drug scene in South Korea, a prosecutor aiming for higher status, and a detective who is determined to eradicate drug crimes, each with their own motives.
The film's main cast is joining forces with the Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency to launch a special campaign aimed at preventing drug crimes. This collaboration is designed to convey the social message of 'Yadang: The Snitch' and raise public awareness about the dangers of drugs.
To kick things off, the stars of 'Yadang: The Snitch'―Kang Ha-neul, Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-joon, Ryu Kyung-soo, and Chae Won-bin―have released photos with police-themed merchandise, drawing significant attention. Park Hae-joon's character, a passionate narcotics detective named Oh Sang-jae, is expected to become an iconic figure symbolizing the fight against drugs. Additionally, officials from the Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency attended the film's first screening, expressing high satisfaction with the film's realism and the fearless portrayal of Oh Sang-jae.

Furthermore, during the initial screening on April 7 and the member screenings at major theaters like CGV, Megabox, and Lotte Cinema from April 8 to 10, a pre-screening announcement about the anti-drug campaign was shown to audiences. This provided early viewers of 'Yadang: The Snitch' with an opportunity to understand the dangers of drugs.
After the screenings, audiences who share their reviews with the hashtag #EndDrugs will receive police-themed merchandise, including plush toys of police mascots and a police car USB set. Additionally, 'Yadang: The Snitch' is offering an event where attendees can receive a drug prevention test kit, which can easily detect drug substances in suspicious drinks. These unique and practical items were first given to attendees of the initial screening and will also be available through ticket purchase and viewing certification events on Plus M Entertainment's official social media channels.
'Yadang: The Snitch' is set to premiere on April 16.
