THE BOYZ SUNWOO's agency has issued an apology after a video surfaced showing him dropping his wireless earbuds (AirPods) and shouting instead of picking them up.
On the 14th, his agency, One Hundred, stated, "We are fully aware that SUNWOO's behavior in the video could lead to questions about his character. SUNWOO is also calmly reflecting on the situation after discussing it with us," they explained.
One Hundred further commented, "All our artists are under our protection and management. The recent controversy regarding SUNWOO's behavior is entirely our oversight, and the artist is reflecting on aspects he hadn't realized before," they admitted.
They added, "We at One Hundred are committed to communicating with our artists to ensure such oversights do not happen again. We sincerely apologize once more."
Previously, online footage showed SUNWOO dropping his AirPods while moving and shouting "AirPods!" instead of picking them up. A security guard picked them up for him, but SUNWOO's lack of gratitude was noted, leading to the controversy.
In response, on the 12th, senior singer-turned-actress Nana commented, "You can't judge a person based on a short video... but his actions seemed very disrespectful and it was quite a shocking video for me," a sentiment echoed by many fans.
