Director Hong Sang-soo's latest film, 'What Does That Nature Say to You,' is set to premiere in South Korea on May 14.

The film's distributor, Jeonwon Film Production Co., announced on the 14th, "Director Hong Sang-soo's 33rd feature film, 'What Does That Nature Say to You,' will be released on May 14," and unveiled the movie's poster and trailer.

'What Does the Nature Say to You' follows the story of Dong-hwa, a poet in his 30s, who unexpectedly visits the home of his girlfriend, Jun-hee, leading to a series of events. Directed by Hong Sang-soo, the film stars Ha Seong-guk, Kwon Hae-hyo, and Jo Yoon-hee.

The film was invited to compete at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, which concluded in February. Director Hong attended the festival with Kim Min-hee, who was pregnant at the time, but the film did not win any awards.

Tricia Tuttle, the festival's executive director, along with two program directors, praised the film, saying, "We all loved the language of form and rhythm in your latest work, as well as the insights it offers. 'What Does That Nature Say to You' feels incredibly intuitive about people and the dynamics between them. It is also sharply witty and humorous at many moments."

Recently, Hong Sang-soo welcomed a son with Kim Min-hee.
