Robin, known for representing France on JTBC's 'Non Summit,' is set to marry fellow broadcaster Kim Seo-yeon, who is a year younger than him.
On the 13th, Robin took to his social media to announce, "I've met my precious other half and we're getting married." He added, "Things have moved a bit quickly, so I haven't been able to tell everyone personally. I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude and apologies."
Robin's bride-to-be, whom he will marry on the 3rd of next month, is Kim Seo-yeon, who was known as Song Ha during her time with the girl group LPG. After her stint in the group, she pursued a career in acting and modeling and later became an internet broadcaster (BJ) before retiring last November.
Kim Seo-yeon also shared her excitement about the marriage, stating, "I've met someone I want to walk through life with, and we're starting a new chapter together. Since our paths have crossed again, I am committed to showing our best selves with a deeper and stronger bond."
Robin shared more about their relationship on Fabien's channel, saying, "My fiancee is a pure Korean who doesn't speak English. We first met in 2013 when I appeared on a show called 'Trot X' in Korea. We exchanged numbers, stayed friends, and naturally became a couple."
He also revealed, "My fiancee recently attended a friend's wedding and loved the venue so much that we ended up booking it on the spot. We set the date so quickly that I haven't even proposed yet. Although marriage will grant me a visa, I've decided to take the permanent residency test because I want to achieve something during my 14 years in Korea."
