On the 15th, Lee Seung-gi's agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, stated, "We have discovered that an online investment site has been using Lee Seung-gi's image without authorization for false advertising. The site is enticing investments by using phrases like 'recommended by friends' and 'recruiting investors,' and is unlawfully using Lee Seung-gi's image as if he is their model."
In response, the agency announced, "We are currently pursuing all civil and criminal legal actions, including sending a cease-and-desist letter to the operators of the site. Lee Seung-gi has no connection whatsoever with this company, and we urge everyone to be cautious of investment solicitations using his unauthorized image."
The agency further stated, "We will not tolerate the illegal use of our artist's image rights. We will continue to take strong legal measures to protect Lee Seung-gi's image rights and prevent public harm without leniency."
