BTS JIN is set to make a return this May with a brand-new album.
On May 16th at 1 PM KST, JIN will release his second mini-album, "Echo." This marks his first release in about six months since his debut solo album "Happy" last November. JIN decided on a quick comeback because he wanted to connect with his fans more frequently.
"Echo" captures the essence of life's various moments, spreading out like echoes. The album presents stories and emotions that everyone might experience at some point, delivered throughJIN's unique perspective with a touch of wit and simplicity.
The new album features seven tracks that showcase JIN's versatile vocal range. Like his previous album "Happy," this one also leans on band sounds, highlighting JIN's consistent musical preferences and direction.
Meanwhile, on the morning of the 15th, a surprise video of JIN was screened at the K-POP SQUARE MEDIA in Coex, Gangnam, Seoul. In the video, JIN is seen holding a placard with the release date "May 16th" inside a crane game filled with plush toys, capturing everyone's attention. His striking visuals filled the largest LED screen in the country, leaving a lasting impression.
Big Hit Music stated, "We planned this promotion to announce JIN's comeback in a unique way and to make the wait enjoyable for everyone. We hope for a lot of interest and anticipation for Jin and 'Echo'." The video will be shown from April 15th to 19th, every 30 minutes from 6 AM to 11:30 PM.
