The movie 'Yadang: The Snitch' continues to surge in popularity, drawing over 80,000 viewers on a weekday in its second week.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater tickets, 'Yadang: The Snitch' attracted 81,983 people nationwide on the 21st, maintaining its position at the top of the box office. The cumulative audience count has reached 868,053.

Since its premiere on the 16th, 'Opposition' has been a sensation, pulling in over 600,000 viewers during its opening weekend alone. It has continued this momentum into the second week, maintaining a steady number of daily viewers comparable to its opening week.

'Yadang: The Snitch' tells the gripping tale of a drug ring broker named Yadang (played by Kang Ha-neul), a prosecutor (played by Yoo Hae-jin) who aspires to climb higher in his career, and a detective (played by Park Hae-jun) who stakes everything on taking down drug crimes. Despite being rated for mature audiences due to its drug-related content, this has not slowed its box office success.

Most notably, the film has received high praise from viewers. With a rating of 9.2 on Naver Movies and a 97% Egg Index on CGV, word-of-mouth is expected to further boost its popularity.
