The film 'Yadang: The Snitch' has surpassed 1 million nationwide viewers in just 8 days since its release.

On the 23rd, the investment and distribution company Plus M Entertainment announced that 'Yadang: The Snitch' had crossed the 1 million viewer mark (according to the Korean Film Council) by 2 PM that day. This achievement outpaces this year's second top-grossing Korean film 'The Match', which took 11 days to reach the same milestone, by a full 3 days. Considering 'Yadang: The Snitch' is rated for adults only, its performance is all the more remarkable.

Moreover, since its release, it has consistently held the top spot in the overall box office rankings, and on April 22nd, the second Tuesday after its release, it attracted 91,360 viewers, surpassing its opening day score of 85,705 viewers. This shows an impressive and somewhat alarming trend in its box office success.

'Yadang: The Snitch' is a crime action film that unfolds as a drug broker named 'Yadang', a prosecutor aiming for higher grounds, and a detective betting everything on eradicating drug crimes, all with different motives, become entangled. The film stars Kang Ha-neul, Yoo Hae-jin, and Park Hae-joon.
