'Ballerina' follows the story of Eve (played by Ana de Armas), a ballerina trained as an assassin by the Ruska Roma, who seeks vengeance after her family is murdered. Starting with 'John Wick' in 2015, the 'John Wick' series has become a hallmark of Hollywood action, grossing over a billion dollars worldwide with the release of 'John Wick 4' in 2023. 'Ballerina' is the first spinoff from the 'John Wick' series and is highly anticipated by action fans around the globe.
The film stars Ana de Armas, who rose to stardom with roles in 'Blade Runner 2049' and 'Knives Out'. Sooyoung plays the character Katla Park, a Korean descendant and the daughter of Eve's Ruska Roma colleague, Il-sung. Katla Park is known to be a character under Eve's protection during her first field mission.
'Ballerina' is set to premiere in North America on June 6.
