A Prime Example of a Singer-Turned-Actor: N.Flying Lee Seung-hyub Rises as the Lead in Youth Romance 'Spring of Youth'
Spring of Four Seasons Lee Seung-hyub'Spring of Youth' Lee Seung-hyub stands tall as the powerful male lead in a youth romance.

Starting with special episodes 1 and 2 on May 6th (Tuesday) and May 7th (Wednesday), the new SBS drama 'Spring of Youth' (written by Kim Min-chul, directed by Kim Sung-yong) will air every Wednesday night at 10:40 PM. The drama tells the story of 'Sagye,' a star of the top K-pop band group, who gets kicked out of the team and, through twists and turns, starts college life where he fatefully meets 'Kim Bom' and makes a splendid comeback in this youth music romance.

'Spring of Youth' is hailed as a youth music drama that continues the legacy of the 2009 sensation 'You're Beautiful,' with director Kim Sung-yong, known for his exceptional directing skills in hits like 'The Veil' and 'My Dearest,' taking the helm. The production is handled by the 'band powerhouse' FNC, and the programming by the 'drama kingdom' SBS. The cast, including youthful actors Ha Yoo-jun, Park Ji-hoo, Lee Seung-hyub, Seo Hye-won, and Kim Sun-min, brings the perfect visuals and fresh energy for a campus drama, promising heart-fluttering moments and laughter this spring.

Among them, Lee Seung-hyub, with his ever-changing charm, is set to redefine his career-best character through various scenes revealed on the 25th. In the drama, Seo Tae-yang (Lee Seung-hyub) showcases the demeanor of a 'campus god' with his white shirt, grey knit, and crossbody bag, sending out longing glances, while also revealing the charismatic expression of 'guitar genius' Seo Tae-yang, casually wearing a denim shirt over a white tee and playing the guitar. On the other hand, Tae-yang also exudes a cool aura in a blue surgical gown with an expressionless face, and shows a lonely expression among crowds, raising curiosity.

Especially, Lee Seung-hyub, who plays Seo Tae-yang, delicately portrays the character, from being the perfect son of a hospital director and a medical student at Hanju University to showing charismatic leadership as the head of Hanju University's band club, proving his expanded 'acting spectrum.'

Lee Seung-hyub, the leader of the band N.Flying and an actor, shared his reason for joining 'Spring of Youth,' saying, "I liked the story of youth, fresh and thrilling, fitting for the warm spring, accompanied by music." He also heightened curiosity about his character, stating, "Tae-yang has always had a crush on Bom (Park Ji-hoo) since they were young. Then, Sagye (Ha Yoo-jun) appears before Bom, and Tae-yang finds himself in a dilemma and conflict between his father's wishes, Bom, and music."

Furthermore, Lee Seung-hyub expressed his anticipation for the premiere, "I'm both nervous and excited. I hope it becomes a work that many can enjoy." Lastly, he shared his affection for the project and character, "I've been eagerly waiting to meet everyone as Tae-yang while shooting 'Spring of Youth.' The six months felt short due to how focused I was. I had a lot of fun filming, so please look forward to it and enjoy."

The production team of 'Spring of Youth' praised, "The more we shoot with Lee Seung-hyub, the more we feel he's a diligent and creative actor who perfectly captures both the singer and actor roles. We look forward to Lee Seung-hyub's performance in 'Spring of Youth,' proving himself as the material for a youth romance lead."

'Spring of Youth' is scheduled to air every Wednesday night at 10:40 PM, with episodes 1 and 2 airing back-to-back on May 6th (Tuesday) and May 7th (Wednesday) at 10:40 PM.
